The Faculty of Contemporary Islamic Studies (FKI), Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA), is honoured to welcome you to the International Conference on Muslim Affairs and Dilemma 2026 (ICMAD 2026), to be held at Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA), Terengganu, Malaysia, on 5 October 2026. The conference will bring together scholars, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, professionals and students from Malaysia and around the world to engage in meaningful scholarly discourse on contemporary issues affecting Muslim societies and the global community. This year’s conference embraces the theme “Addressing the Crisis of the Ummah and Contemporary Dilemmas through Global Collaboration.” In an increasingly interconnected world, Muslim societies continue to encounter complex challenges arising from rapid social, political, economic, technological and global transformations. These developments demand thoughtful, informed and collaborative responses that are grounded in scholarly knowledge, shared responsibility and a commitment to the well-being of the Ummah and humanity. ICMAD 2026 therefore provides a timely interdisciplinary platform for critically examining contemporary challenges while exploring relevant, practical and sustainable solutions.
