The 5th International Conference on High Voltage Engineering and Power Systems 2025 (ICHVEPS 2025) is the fifth biannual conference organized by the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia, as an international forum for the exchange of ideas, discussion, and dissemination of the research results and technologies in the field of High Voltage Engineering and Power Systems. This conference is suitable to be attended by university professors and lecturers, post-graduate, graduate, and undergraduate students, power utility engineers, researchers from industries and research institutes, and professionals in the field of electrical power engineering, especially related to high voltage engineering and power systems. Except for the 3rd one, ICHVEPS has always been held as an in-person conference, where both the 1st and the 2nd ICHVEPS in 2017 and 2019 took place in Sanur, Bali, Indonesia. In 2020, the pandemic happened. However, it did not discourage us from organizing and holding the 3rd ICHVEPS, which was held as a virtual conference in October 2021. At each of the previous conferences, about 120-160 papers from more than 15 countries were presented and published in IEEE Xplore.
