It is sponsored by Beijing Institute of Technology, China; hosted by School of Information and Electronics, Beijing Institute of Technology, China. Over the past 18 editions, ICDIP has been hosted in collaboration with prestigious institutions such as Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), Gifu University (Japan), East China Normal University (China), Sun Yat-sen University (China), Hainan University (China) and University Sains Malaysia (Malaysia). The conference has organized nearly 200 technical sessions covering international hotspots, including image enhancement and restoration, feature analysis and extraction, image denoising, infrared imaging, and digital watermarking. It has attracted over a thousand participants from more than 60 countries and regions, including the UK, the US, Japan, China, New Zealand, South Korea, and Singapore. With a robust academic support network, ICDIP has featured high-level keynote speeches by renowned scholars from around the world.
