DESCRIPTION
Full Name: 2026 The 12th International Conference on Culture, Languages, and Literature (ICCLL 2026) Abbreviation: ICCLL 2026 Date: May 22-24, 2026 Place: Seoul, South Korea Website: https://www.iccll.org/ Welcome Message The conference will be held in Seoul, South Korea—a dynamic metropolis where ancient royal heritage harmonizes with cutting-edge modernity—from May 22 to May 24, 2026. This year’s theme is: "Cultural Dialogue ACULcross Continents: Blending Traditional Humanities with Global Linguistic and Literary Innovations". ICCLL 2026 is proudly supported by The Association of Convergence Studies of English Language and Literature, Hannam University, and Busan University of Foreign Studies. It serves as a distinctive platform for scholars, researchers, and professionals worldwide to exchange ideas, showcase groundbreaking research, and engage in meaningful dialogue. Anchored in Seoul’s reputation as a global hub for cultural exchange and academic collaboration, the conference will explore the dynamic intersections of culture, language, and literature. It will place particular focus on how traditional arts, linguistic heritage, and literary traditions engage with global perspectives—illuminating their collective and profound impact on contemporary society and humanity. Our mission is to bridge disciplinary divides, amplify diverse cross-cultural viewpoints, and nurture lasting connections across geographic, cultural, and linguistic boundaries. The carefully curated program features keynote addresses by leading scholars in Korean studies and global humanities, paper presentations spanning a broad range of thematic areas, and interactive sessions designed to inspire collaboration—all set against the backdrop of Seoul’s vibrant academic landscape and rich cultural tapestry. Set against the backdrop of Seoul, a city where Gyeongbokgung Palace’s historic elegance stands alongside futuristic skyscrapers, and where street food markets hum with multilingual energy, ICCLL 2026 promises to be a truly enriching and unforgettable experience. Beyond academic exchanges, the conference will also offer opportunities to engage with Seoul’s cultural tapestry, from its world-renowned K-culture scene to its deep-rooted traditions of poetry and calligraphy. Your participation is essential to the success of the conference, and we are excited to embark on this journey of cross-cultural discovery together in the heart of Seoul. We look forward to welcoming you to Seoul this May and to sharing insightful moments that will resonate long after the conference concludes.
