DESCRIPTION
The IEEE conference series on Automatic Face and Gesture Recognition is the premier international forum for research in image and video-based face, gesture, and body movement recognition. It is co-sponsored by IEEE Biometrics Council and IEEE Computer Society. Its broad scope includes advances in fundamental computer vision, pattern recognition, and computer graphics; machine learning techniques relevant to face, gesture, and body motion; interdisciplinary research on behavioral analysis; new algorithms and applications. Topics of interest include but are not limited to:
Face recognition & biometrics
Face analysis and synthesis
Body action and activity recognition
Gesture recognition, analysis, and synthesis
Affective computing and multi-modal interaction
Psychological and behavioral analysis
Perceptual and cognitive aspects of non-verbal interaction
Databases and tools for FG
Technologies and applications related to FG
Privacy and ethical issues of FG
Submissions to FG 2025 should have no substantial overlap with any other paper already submitted or published, or to be submitted during the FG 2025 review period. All persons who have made any substantial contribution to the work should be listed as authors, and all listed authors should have made some substantial contribution to the work. All authors should be aware that the paper is submitted to FG 2025.
Topics of Interest Include, but are not limited to:
Action recognition,
Body motion analysis and synthesis
Gesture recognition, analysis and synthesis,
Face recognition, analysis and synthesis,
Psychological and behavioral analysis,
The submissions are open and you can submit your paper through the CMT System: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/FG2025
All accepted (main conference) papers MUST have at least one full (non-student) registration no later than … (the early registration deadline). A student author can register at the student rate only if another co-author has registered at the full rate. A student registration does not cover a paper.
One full (member or non-member) registration covers 1 main conference paper + 1 workshop paper. Workshop papers can also be covered by a student registration. Workshop registrations are valid for 1 day for the day of the selected workshop and also cover 1 workshop paper. No social events are included in the workshop registration.
Please note that the “Workshop only registrations” represent 1-day registrations that include entry to all workshops and short courses on a selected day. These 1-day registrations do not cover attendance at the main FG 2025 conference or any social events.
