Call for papers/Topics All Abstracts, Reviews, short articles, Full articles, Posters are welcomed related with any of the following research fields: Part 1: Independent Core Topics & Subtopics 1. Agricultural Sciences Agronomy and Crop Physiology: Plant genetics and breeding, crop nutrition, stress physiology, and seed science. Soil Science and Land Management: Soil chemistry and biology, soil fertility, erosion control, carbon sequestration, and soil microbiome engineering. Horticulture and Forestry: Pomology (fruit production), olericulture (vegetable farming), floriculture, agroforestry, and urban agriculture. Plant Pathology and Protection: Mycology, virology, bacteriology, integrated pest management (IPM), weed science, and biopesticides. Precision Agriculture and AgTech: Satellite imagery mapping, automated harvesting robotics, variable rate technology (VRT), hydroponics, and aeroponics. 2. Food Science and Technology Food Chemistry and Biochemistry: Flavor chemistry, lipid oxidation, functional food compounds, enzymatic reactions, and food additives. Food Processing and Engineering: Thermal processing, dehydration, cold chain preservation, high-pressure processing (HPP), and extrusion technology. Food Safety, Quality, and Microbiology: Foodborne pathogens, sanitation standards, shelf-life modeling, toxicology, and quality assurance frameworks (e.g., HACCP). Sensory Evaluation and Consumer Behavior: Sensory perception analysis, texture profiling, consumer acceptance testing, and behavioral food economics. Novel Foods and Sustainable Packaging: Alternative proteins, cultured meat, fermentation technology, biodegradable packaging, and edible films. 3. Biological Sciences Molecular and Cellular Biology: Gene expression, signal transduction, recombinant DNA technology, metabolic pathways, and cell signaling. Genomics and Biotechnology: CRISPR-Cas gene editing, transcriptomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, and marker-assisted selection. Ecology and Environmental Biology: Ecosystem dynamics, biodiversity conservation, invasion biology, macro-ecology, and climate impact biology. Microbiology and Immunology: Applied bacteriology, virology, environmental microbiology, microbial ecology, and comparative immunology. Systems Biology and Synthetic Biology: Metabolic engineering, computational biology, biological network modeling, and artificial biological systems. Part 2: Interrelated Cross-Disciplinary Topics These domains frequently overlap to address complex biological, environmental, and nutritional challenges: Agro-Ecology and Soil Microbiology Connection: Integrates Biological Sciences (microbiology, ecology) with Agricultural Sciences (soil management). Focus: How native soil bacteria, fungi, and nitrogen-fixing microbes interact with root systems to improve crop yields without synthetic fertilizers. Nutritional Genomics (Nutrigenomics) and Functional Foods Connection: Integrates Food Science (functional ingredients) with Biological Sciences (genomics). Focus: How dietary components alter human gene expression, and how targeted crop breeding can optimize nutrient profiles for specific health outcomes. Sustainable Agri-Food Systems and Circular Bioeconomy Connection: Integrates Agricultural Sciences (biomass generation), Food Science (waste reduction/upcycling), and Biological Sciences (bioprocessing). Focus: Transforming agricultural processing waste into bioactive compounds, biofuels, bioplastics, or animal feed through microbial fermentation. Post-Harvest Pathogen Management Connection: Integrates Agricultural Science (harvesting), Food Science (preservation/safety), and Biological Sciences (mycology/bacteriology). Focus: Understanding the biological mechanisms of post-harvest spoilage organisms to develop biological controls that extend fresh produce shelf life without chemical fungicides.
