Call for Papers: ADMCE-27 Full Articles/ Reviews/ Shorts Papers/ Abstracts are welcomed in the following research fields: Foundational & Independent Topics These areas focus on the distinct principles, theories, and core practices unique to each specific discipline. 1. Architectural Design (The Form & Function) The focus here is on spatial aesthetics, human experience, and the conceptualization of structures. Design Theory and History: Architectural movements (Modernism, Postmodernism, Brutalism), spatial composition, and human-scale design. Programming and Spatial Planning: Functional requirements, circulation patterns, zoning, and building typologies (residential, commercial, industrial). Vernacular and Cultural Architecture: Regional building practices, historical preservation, and adaptive reuse of old structures. Aesthetics and Building Envelope: Facade design, massing, light and shadow play, and interior architecture. 2. Materials Science & Engineering (The Substance) The study of matter at the atomic and microscopic level to understand and manipulate physical properties. Microstructure and Crystallography: Molecular arrangement of matter, defects, and phase transformations in materials. Mechanical Properties of Matter: Tensile strength, elasticity, plasticity, hardness, fatigue, and fracture mechanics. Geotechnical Engineering: Soil mechanics, rock mechanics, slope stability, retaining walls, and deep vs. shallow foundations. Hydraulics and Water Resources: Fluid mechanics, open channel flow, hydrology, dam engineering, and coastal engineering. Transportation Engineering: Highway geometric design, pavement engineering, traffic flow theory, and mass transit planning.
