DESCRIPTION
The UK's and Ireland’s data centre sectors are entering a defining period of growth and
transformation. Driven by artificial intelligence, cloud adoption and the increasing strategic
importance of digital infrastructure, the need to deliver new capacity has never been greater.
Returning to London on 6–7 October 2026, the 4th Data Centre Design, Engineering & Construction
Summit UK will bring together the industry's most influential stakeholders to explore the
opportunities, challenges and innovations shaping the future of data centre development across
the UK and Ireland.
Over two days, senior leaders from hyperscalers, colocation providers, developers, investors,
engineering firms, contractors and technology providers will examine the evolving requirements of
modern data centre projects. Discussions will focus on securing power, navigating planning and
regulatory challenges, accelerating construction, deploying advanced cooling technologies and
designing infrastructure capable of supporting the next generation of AI workloads.
Combining strategic insights with real-world project experience from across the UK and Ireland, the
summit offers a unique opportunity to learn from industry leaders, benchmark approaches with
peers and build valuable relationships across the data centre value chain. The result is a highly
focused forum dedicated to advancing the design, engineering and delivery of the UK's and
Ireland’s future digital infrastructure.
